Hello,
I recently noticed that “High Performance” mode is a lot worse when a battery is in my laptop as opposed to it being plugged in. I have checked of the advanced power settings, and they are identical for both battery and plugged-in sections. This is extremely noticeable, for example when playing a game (not even a graphic-intensive game). I find that I have to tone down all the settings to bare minimum, and even then there is still a bit of “lag”.
Is there a way to make my laptop operate at the same level for both battery and plugged in modes?
System: Dell M1710
OS: Vista Home Premium
Graphics card: Geforce Go 9750GTX (Latest MobileForce driver, since [vista video cards]hasn’t released one for vista
Thanks
